partypoker today announced its exciting schedule for the 2018 partypoker MILLIONS series with events in North America, Russia, the Caribbean and Europe as well as online. Overall, the series will be offering over $100,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools between now and December 2018. This includes the forthcoming Caribbean Poker Party in Punta Cana in November.

Since its launch, partypoker MILLIONS has made its mark as one of the biggest and most successful poker series ever held. With record breaking prize pool guarantees and countless ways to qualify online for very small buy-ins. MILLIONS events have proved a massive hit across the globe.

For 2018, partypoker is ramping up MILLIONS even more. All next year’s events will have guaranteed prize pools of at least $5,000,000! With five events each guaranteeing a minimum of $10,000,000 in total guaranteed prize money. At the $10,000,000 guarantee stops, at least three players will become instant millionaires.! With the winner banking a life-changing $1.4 million. Closing 2017 will be MILLIONS Online held on partypoker with a $5,000,000 guarantee. The online multi day event will run from December 3rd-6th with a $5,300 buy-in.  Satellites for the MILLIONS Online Main Event start on Wednesday, November 1st and will run for over a month, right up until the start of Day 1a on December 3rd. The first 200 players to qualify will be automatically entered into a Last Longer competition which will award the winner with a $15,000 package to the MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona next April.

The first MILLIONS event of 2018 will be partypoker MILLIONS Germany at the celebrated King’s Casino in Rozvadov on the Czech border. partypoker today announced that it will be hosting the first ever online version of its popular MILLIONS event with a $5,000,000 guaranteed tournament in December.

The MILLIONS Online Main Event – which promises a $1,000,000 payday for the champion – will take place on partypoker.com from Sunday, December 3rd to Wednesday, December 6th. Players will be able to qualify for the $5,300 buy-in event for as little as $1.10 – or buy-in direct on partypoker.com.

There are three start flights to choose from: Day 1a starts at 17.00 GMT (18:00 CET) on December 3rd with Day 1b starting at the same time on December 4th. There is a last chance Day 1c Turbo at noon GMT (13:00 CET) on December 5th with Day 2 also starting on the 5that17.00 GMT (18:00 CET). The final table is at 19.00 on December 6th. Players will begin Day 1 with a starting stack of a million chips with 30 minute levels.

Satellites for the MILLIONS Online Main Event start on Wednesday, November 1st and will run for over a month, right up until the start of Day 1a on December 3rd. The first 100 players to qualify will be automatically entered into a Last Longer competition which will award the winner with a $15,000 package to the MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona next April. All players who qualify for the Last Longer will have a Gold Chip icon against their avatar on the client and their usernames will be listed on the partypoker website.

Satellites for the MILLIONS Online Main Event will be easy to find, coloured gold in the partypoker client under the ‘MILLIONS Online’ tournaments tab.

Unibet Poker to launch new online MTT schedule

Unibet have announced that they are overhauling their online MTT schedule. Three years after launching their standalone Poker platform with Relax Gaming.  Until now, Unibet has focused much of their efforts on software improvements and headline cash game promotions. As a result, their efforts won them the EGR ‘Poker Innovation of the Year’ three years in a row. However, Unibet are now looking to make themselves more competitive on the MTT front. With flagship Sunday tournaments being added to the client for the first time, two new blind structures for players to enjoy, a space theme and numerous improvements to the MTT lobby. The new schedule was devised in conjunction with players and Unibet ambassadors. Furthermore, the operator have said that they will optimize the schedule on an ongoing basis. They monitor this by continuing to take feedback from players on their community site.

The new schedule will begin to populate in the Unibet Poker client on the morning of October 2nd, with the first Sunday Majors taking place on October 8th.

Unibet is also planning to improve their qualifier structure for live events soon.  Pooling all low stakes live event qualifiers under one umbrella. In addition to allowing players to choose which Unibet tour they would like to play a final qualifier for. The date for that change is yet to be announced.

Unibet Poker Leader feels the timing is right to make change

The value of the tickets given away will increase each week in October, culminating with a €25 cash game ticket. Moreover, given to all players who have played five MTTs on each of six separate days the final week.

Monster guarantees, tiny buy-ins: 140 events starting from just $1.10 plus over $100K in cash and ticket in the Monster rake race

partypoker is launching a brand new online tournament series next month, boasting giant prize pools with seriously tiny buy-ins. The new 11-day Monster Series runs October 21st to 31st and offers recreational and low- to mid-stakes players the chance to compete for a mammoth $5,000,000 in guaranteed prizes.

With buy-ins ranging from just $1.10 to $215, the new Monster Series will feature an incredible variety of events and formats including rebuy and re-entry tournaments, Progressive Knockouts, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha Hi Low, turbos and hyper-turbos, heads-up shootouts, deepstack tournaments and mix-max.

Player feedback was instrumental in creating the Monster Series schedule which has been devised by partypoker’s Bryan Slick.

The Monster Series is split into two stakes levels – Micro and Mid – each with its own schedule and exciting Main Event. All events carry a prize pool guarantee, ranging from $1,000 up to $1,000,000 for the Mid-Level Main Event. Players will be able to buy in direct to each and every event, or qualify via satellites.

Micro-Level schedule

The Micro schedule boasts a total guarantee of $1,000,000 and features 70 tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from $1.10 to $22. The very first event is a $1.10 buy-in No Limit Hold’em re-entry tournament with a $4,000 guarantee and it takes place on Saturday, October 21. The Micro-Level Main Event, which takes place on Sunday, 29th October, is a $22, single re-entry with a monster guarantee of $300,000.

Mid-Level schedule

The Mid schedule will see players competing for a combined monster guaranteed prize pool of $4,000,000. Including a $215 buy-in Main Event that takes place on Sunday 29th October and comes with a $1,000,000 guarantee. There are 70 Mid-Level events, with buy-ins ranging from $11 to $215. The first event is an $11 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament with a $20,000 guarantee and it will take place on Saturday, October 21st.

Monster Series Rake Race

The Monster Rake Race is a chance for cash game players to battle it out for Monster Series tickets. Also, a share of the prizepool. From October 12th to 22nd for Low and Mid stakes levels.  October 21st– 31st for High stakes level players. Partypoker releases POWERFEST schedule

 

Partypoker releases POWERFEST schedule as well as four great promotions

 

$35 million guaranteed in 330 events, 12 Championship events with over $13 million guaranteed & promotions worth more than $300,000

The biggest partypoker POWERFEST ever kicks off this Sunday with a record $35 million in guaranteed prize pools across three weeks of online action. The series runs Sunday, 3rdSeptember through to Sunday, 24th September. In addition, partypoker will be four headline promotions with over $300,000 in bonuses, plus a few once in a life time opportunities. 

There have been five POWERFEST festivals so far– and each one has been bigger than the last. This sixth edition features a staggering 330 events, including a record 12 Championship events, ten of which have guarantees of $1 million or more. partypoker is also hosting four great promotions during POWERFEST including the brand new Last Man Standing promotion rewarding players who cash on every Sunday of the series (full details below). The last POWERFEST in May had a $20 million guarantee but ended up accumulating over $27 million in prizepools.

With three different buy-in categories, and a ton of phased events and satellites, the September POWERFEST schedule is designed to appeal to poker players of all bankrolls:

In the low buy-in category, there are more than twenty $5.50 tournaments. In addition, they all carry guaranteed prize pools of at least $10,000, and several with guarantees of $20,000. The flagship Championship Event (POWERFEST #325) costs just $11 and comes with a whopping $50,000 guarantee. This includes a guaranteed $10,000 for the winner.

The high buy-in category features scores of No Limit Hold’em events with buy-ins of $109 and above. Many carry guaranteed prize pools of at least $100,000. The biggest event of all is the prestigious $25,500 Super High Roller which comes with a $3 million guarantee! It’s set to be one of the most exciting events of the year. Part of the last POWERFEST in May, the Super High Roller attracted 129 entries and generated a guarantee-busting $3,225,000 prize pool. “juanpardo99” took it down for $660,067 with partypoker Ambassadors Joao Simao and Sam Trickett both making the final table.

One brand new addition to this September’s series is the POWERFEST Ladies event. A huge number of women enjoy playing on partypoker!  So it seems likely the $109 buy-in event on 24th September will smash the $10,000 guarantee.

POWERFEST Promotions

POWERFEST leaderboards are running throughout the series – one for each of the three Low, Medium and High buy-in categories – and will be updated every week. A total of 150 prizes are guaranteed. These range from semi-final tickets worth $109 – for the top five players on the Low Leaderboard – up to $10,000 packages for November’s prestigious $10,000,000 million guaranteed Caribbean Poker Party in Punta Cana. The top five players on the High Leaderboard receive this prize. Players earn Leaderboard points every single time they finish in the money in any event. In addition, they will be eligible in any category they compete in. A handy Leaderboard Calculator makes it easy for players to work out the points they’ve earned for any given cash.

Four great promotions will provide an additional $300,000 in prizes, as well as the chance to become the next partypoker Online Pro.

The POWERFEST Tournament of Champions will see all the winners of the 330 events on the schedule compete against each other in a fantastic $20,000 freeroll at the end of the series. Up for grabs is the title of partypoker Online Pro along with a top prize worth $10,000 in Power Series tickets, including free entries to The Title Fight and The Main Event. The remaining $10K in the prize pool will be paid out as per the payout structure in the partypoker client. The POWERFEST Tournament of Champions takes place on 1st October at 21:00 BST (22:00 CEST).

The POWERFEST Last Chance Tourney is a fantastic freeroll. It is open to any player who has competed regularly but failed to cash. Players can compete for $10,000 in prizes if they have taken part in five POWERFEST tourneys or more but haven’t managed to make the money. With a top prize of $2,500 – and paying out to the top 100 finishers, the Last Chance Tourney is being held on 1st October, at 21:00 BST (22:00 CEST).

Last Man Standing is a brand new promotion to reward consistently good performances during the Series. With a $10,000 partypoker LIVE package for the winner, plus an additional prize pool of $10,000, the Last Man Standing freeroll is open to all players who cash every singleSunday of POWERFEST: 3rd September, 10th September, 17th September and the final Sundayon 24th September). Any POWERFEST tournament will do – just make sure you cash on aSunday! The freeroll will take place on Wednesday, 27th September 2017.
