Anatoly Filatov is a winner of partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Russia Main Event. After defeating a field of 916 entries he took the Title and first place cash prize which is $900,000.

A buy-in for this No Limit Holdem event was $5.023. For Anatoly Filatov, this is the largest score so far in his career. With winning this event, he now has more than $2.7M in lifetime tournaments earning.  He is having a very successful year so far as this was the third final table for the young Russian poker pro.

In heads-up, he played against Gor Kazaryan. Filatov was slightly behind with chips when they started. He managed to take the lead with some smaller pots before the final hand happened:

Kazaryan just limped the button with the Q9. Filatov decided to raise to 27,000,000 with J10 and Kazaryan made the call.  Q97  came to the flop and Filatov checked. Kazaryan made a 35.000.000 bet and Filatov called. The K came on the turn making the nuts for Filatov who checked once again. Kazaryan bet 55.000.000, Filatov moved all-in and Kazaryan made the call believing that his two-pair from the flop could be good on that heavy wet board. The river changed nothing and Filatov took the Trophy and $900.000, while Kazaryan won $585.000 as a runner-up finisher.

Bruno Fitoussi has 30 years long experience in many poker areas:

He has enjoyed success in some of the world’s biggest poker tournaments. Most notably in 2001 when he won the World Heads-Up Poker Championship (1^stedition) when he defeated Amarillo ‘Slim’ Preston in the final. Fitoussi was also the runner-up of the WSOP HORSE $50K (Players Championship) in 2007. And another impressive result is 15th place in the WSOP Main Event in 2003.

Based in Paris, Fitoussi was the poker consultant for 20 years at the Aviation Club de France (ACF) and has commentated on hundreds of poker tournaments on many different TV shows.

Fitoussi has four nominations for the prestigious WSOP Hall of Fame so far.

partypoker announces exciting 2018 MILLIONS schedule with over $100,000,000 in guarantees

partypoker today announced its exciting schedule for the 2018 partypoker MILLIONS series with events in North America, Russia, the Caribbean and Europe as well as online. Overall, the series will be offering over $100,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools between now and December 2018. This includes the forthcoming Caribbean Poker Party in Punta Cana in November.

Since its launch, partypoker MILLIONS has made its mark as one of the biggest and most successful poker series ever held. With record breaking prize pool guarantees and countless ways to qualify online for very small buy-ins. MILLIONS events have proved a massive hit across the globe.

For 2018, partypoker is ramping up MILLIONS even more. All next year’s events will have guaranteed prize pools of at least $5,000,000!
